Ephesians // Alive with Christ

Sin isn’t just the bad things that we do or our selfish motives for the good things that we do – sin is actually the condition of our hearts. It’s who we are apart from God’s miraculous work in our lives. We were spiritually dead…BUT GOD.

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved" Ephesians 2:4-5

When we were all dead in our trespasses, we were utterly hopeless...and yet God made us alive, not because of our own doing, but because of His great mercy and love for us.
